Ha... This http://www.envy.nu/thhsnerd/review7.html review amused me quite a lot.. Talk about a 40 year old in denial! He's right... Jeez, you look like shit, I've really gotta tell you.. Please, do get a life, get a DECENT site, and get a HAIRCUT!

I very much doubt I am going to try e-mailing "Person" at "Person.com," but I do have some public rebuttals to make to this one, and this might be a good place to do it.

First of all: "Person" seems to think I haven't seen this review. At the time this was sent, it was linked from my front Web site (the review site having gone down since), and while it is a very opinionated, jaded, nasty, and prejudicial review, it is probably the best review on thhsnerd's entire site. Every other site was slammed on there too, and my Web site was trashed mostly because we had a difference of opinion on style and the author of the review went into the writing determined to hate me and my site.

Second order of business: I'm not a forty-year-old in denial. I was twenty-two when that picture was taken and am frequently mistaken for a teen and refused my rights as a non-minor without proving so with my ID. I tend to think that if insulting me is the intent, one would attempt to pick something that at least marginally applies. This guestbook entry mostly picks on my looks (which I don't think are lacking in any important department), and the urge that I go get a "decent" site would probably be better received if the complaint had offered some semblance of critical review on the subject. At least thhsnerd said WHY she didn't like my page. (And SHE seems to identify herself as "gurlie" on her page so I guess that means female, not "he.")

And to wrap it up: I must say I very much admire people who can tell me my site sucks and tell me I'm ugly just for kicks. If this person had a LEGIT comment about my site sucking I'd be more than glad to listen to it and take suggestions into account, but unfortunately I'd need an e-mail address or a way to contact this person, and since there wasn't even enough bravery involved to leave a name, I doubt this will ever happen.
